City-tour to Somerset East
If, during your safari, you would like to experience a local town in South Africa, we offer a visit to the small provincial town, Somerset East.
After approximately 45 minutes’ drive from the lodge, you will arrive in Somerset East, which is the nearest provincial town.
The trip to Somerset East will often include:
• A visit to one of the local schools to donate game meat from the safari to the school kitchen. The school principal will often give a guided tour at the school, so you as a guest can see how the teaching is conducted.
• If our guests wish, 1–2 hours can be set aside for shopping in Somerset East.
