Bird Shooting

Side by Side Safaris also offers bird shooting on some of South Africa's best locations for geese, ducks, and Guinea fowl.

Duck and geese shooting is offered at some excellent grounds near our own safari lodge. The birds are normally shot mornings and evenings when they migrate from their resting grounds to feed on newly harvested grain fields and grass pastures. Accommodation will be at our own lodge.

Bird shooting can be a chancy activity as it depends very much on hitting the perfect timing with the crops. It should, therefore, be regarded as secondary activity on rifle safaris.
